You can search the library catalog for books (both print books and ebooks) or if you visit the library, you can browse the shelves. Look for these call numbers to find religion books.

These databases are the 'best bets' for finding scholarly (sometimes called peer-reviewed or refereed) journal articles in religion/theology.

    Collection of peer-reviewed, full-text journals, including many journals indexed in leading citation indexes. The combination of academic journals, magazines, periodicals, reports, books and videos meets the needs of scholars in most disciplines. The best place to begin your research.

  • African American Historical Serials Collection
    Documents the history of African American life and religious organizations from materials published between 1829 and 1922. Over 170 titles from 75 different institutions are fully text-searchable.
  • African American History Online
    African American History Online provides access to numerous primary and secondary documents regarding the history of African Americans.
  • Atla Religion Database with AtlaSerials Best Bet
    Provides coverage from 1949 and retrospective indexing for several journal issues as far back as the nineteenth century. Journals are selected for inclusion according to their scholarly merit and scope. Content includes:full-text content from more than 370 journal, more than 3 million records, indexing of more than 2,400 journals, more than 1,100 of which are currently being indexed.

    Non-fiction ebooks (including textbooks) that are not included in the library OPAC. Click on "EBSCOhost Research Databases," then choose this database from the list.

  • Films on Demand Featured
    Films on Demand is the 'Netflix' of educational videos: is a collection of 30,000+ streaming videos covering a wide range of academic topics. These videos can be accessed remotely and/or shared in the classroom or Canvas. All videos are licensed for educational use.
